BOGOR There were four victims of a landslide disaster in the Muarasari Village retaining wall (TPT) project, Bogor City. A joint team from the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) and the Bogor City Fire Department (BPBD) succeeded in evacuating the victims, even though two people were declared dead.

He explained that the landslide occurred at the site of the rebuilding of the retaining wall (TPT) after the landslide on February 28, 2023. In total there were 22 workers working on the TPT project.

Hidayatulloh said the body of the first victim was found shortly after the landslide occurred at around 11.00 WIB. Meanwhile, the body of the second victim was found at around 14.30 WIB near the TPT on the right side of the river.

He said the joint officers in the field took about two to three hours, due to steep location conditions, and heavy equipment was difficult to enter the location.

"Given the steep condition of the location, heavy equipment cannot enter, building personnel with hard work, cooperation within two or three hours we can find the body," said Hidayatulloh.
