NAGAN RAYA-Investigator of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Nagan Raya Police, Aceh Province, sent DNA samples (Ddeoxyribonucleic Acid) from the body of a baby aged several months, which was previously found dead in the irrigation flow of Kabu Village, East Seunagan District, local district on Thursday 15 February... According to him, the DNA transfer was also a police effort to identify the motive related to the discovery of the baby's body. Iptu Vitra Ramadani said that in order to uncover the case, his party has also formed a team to investigate the alleged murder of a baby in Nagan Raya.

Pihak kepolisian untuk sementara belum bisa memastikan penyebab bayi yang diduga dibuang ke saluran irigasi tersebut, karena kasus ini masih dalam penyelidikan.“Kami masih bekerja mengungkap kasus ini,” kata Iptu Vitra Ramadani.Jenazah bayi yang saat ini tidak bisa dikenali tersebut juga telah berada di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Sultan Iskandar Muda, Kabupaten Nagan Raya, Provinsi Aceh, guna dilakukan visum et repertum.Warga Desa Kabu, Kecamatan Seunagan Timur, Kabupaten Nagan Raya, Provinsi Aceh, pada Kamis siang menemukan sesosok jenazah diduga bayi berusia dua bulan di saluran irigasi desa setempat.Sesosok diduga jasad bayi tersebut ditemukan oleh seorang petani saat sedang mengecek tanaman padi di sawah, setelah sang petani mencium bau busuk di sekitar area sawah.
