JAKARTA - Around 76,494 campaign props (APK) spread across a number of locations were dispatched by the East Jakarta Satpol PP on Monday, February 12. The decline in the APK was carried out from last Sunday, February 11 to Monday, February 12.

East Jakarta Head of Satpol PP, Budhy Novian, said that the decline in the APK will continue until Tuesday, February 13 tomorrow. The decline in the APK continues because there are still many APKs that have not been brought under control, especially on environmental roads or residential areas.

As for protocol roads such as Ahmad Yani Street, DI Panjaitan Street, Bogor Highway, Perintis Kemerdekaan Street and a number of other roads have been cleaned by East Jakarta Satpol PP officers.

"Since yesterday, the number of APKs that have been lowered in East Jakarta has reached 76,494 pieces. It is certain that this figure will still increase until tomorrow," Budhy said when confirmed, Monday, February 12.

Of the 76,494 APK sheets, it is known that the campaign props that were lowered were divided into several types. The APK type banners that have been lowered are 16,381 pieces, 8,909 billboards, 23,566 banners, 15,986 political party flags, 4,350 pamphlets or stickers and 7,302 pieces.

Panwascam Kramat Jati Subdistrict, Umi Wasstiyah added, for the protocol road, it was confirmed that there were no more Election APKs flying.

However, on environmental or village roads, it is possible that it still exists. Therefore, his party will continue to conduct sweeps together with related units to reduce the APB that is still installed.

"We are still sweeping today and tomorrow on environmental or residential roads. Because in this quiet period everything must be clean, no APK should fly," he said.

However, he continued, in his area there are still four billboards measuring about 3x5 square meters installed in different locations. His party will also coordinate first with the UP3D of Kramat Jati District, considering that the billboards are installed in paid areas.

Previously, it was reported that joint officers from the East Jakarta Satpol PP, the TNI and Polri controlled as many as dozens of locations for the installation of campaign props (APK) during the quiet period of the 2024 General Election.

"The decline in the APK is carried out from 75 locations located on flyovers, pedestrian bridges (JPOs), street medians, parks and green open spaces and other social facilities," said East Jakarta Head of Satpol PP, Budhy Novian when confirmed by VOI, Monday, February 12.

The decline in the campaign budget was carried out simultaneously at the city, sub-district and sub-district levels. The combined personnel deployed were 1351 people from the city-level Satpol PP, Sub-district, Kelurahan and Polres and Kodim.
