Russian Citizens Of Tax Dark Taxes Hiding In Bali Deported

Bali immigration officers deported a Russian citizen with the initials DL (36). This foreigner embezzled taxes on a large scale in his country and hid on the island of Bali.

Head of Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim) Denpasar Gede Dudy Duwita said DL was secured at his place of stay in Pecatu area, South Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali.

"The person concerned previously held (can) a limited stay permit (ITAS) for investors valid until November 22, 2024, caught in routine immigration supervision on January 5, 2024," he said.

Duwita, Tuesday, February 6.

During the examination, these foreigners were unable to show their passports on the grounds that they were lost because they were stolen.

DL was also taken to the Denpasar Immigration Detention Center on January 9, 2024 for further detention and processing in accordance with immigration provisions.

Based on official information received from the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Jakarta, DL is known to be hiding in Bali for allegedly being involved in a large-scale tax evasion crime and trying to escape the sentence determined by authorities in Russia.
