JAKARTA - Agus (30), a scavenger who often earns used goods on the railroad line in the Pulogadung area, East Jakarta, was found dead when he was hit by a train, Tuesday, February 6, noon.

The victim was lying lifeless near the sack where his used goods were stored on the Cipinang Lontar railway line, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta.

The victim was found dead with severe injuries to his head and hands after being hit by a long-distance train (KAJJ) from Bekasi to Jatinegara.

"He is a scavenger, he called Agus. It's normal here (looking for used goods)," he said.

Police officers from the Pulogadung sector who arrived at the location immediately processed the crime scene (TKP) and identified the victim's body. After identification, the victim's body was taken to the RSCM morgue for an autopsy.

"He headed for the railroad track through the sidelines of the guardrail to look for used goods," he said.
