Gusdurian Pontianak Holds Street Substation For Political Education Towards The 2024 Election

PONTIANAK- Gusdurian Pontianak held a street substation as an effort to provide political education to the public in welcoming the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) in Pontianak.

PIC Gusdurian Kalbar, Andi Muslim, stated that the Street Substation is a form of political education for the community, even on a small scale. This form of political education is carried out through socialization by distributing leaflets and stickers containing quotes about the invitation to an honest, fair, peaceful, and dignified election. In addition, there is also a movement to write down expectations related to the 2024 election which will be a reflection for Gusdurian for future elections.

"The Street Hall is a form of political education for the community but only on a small scale," said PIC Gusdurian Kalbar, Andi Muslim, at the Pontianak Digulist Monument, Sunday, February 4.

According to Andi Muslim, the importance is not only peaceful elections, but also to be honest, fair, and dignified. Therefore, the Election Substation movement has several programs, one of which is the Street Substation as a form of political education for the community.

"There are several programs for this election, one of which is the Street Substation which is a form of political education for the community," he told Antara.

The Coordinator of Street Substation Action, Luluh Musyarofah, explained that this activity was triggered by a dynamic political phenomenon every period. To anticipate conflicts due to differences in choice or intimidation, Gusdurian invited and educated the public to undergo elections honestly, fairly, peacefully, and with dignity, in accordance with a message from Gus Dur who emphasized the importance of humanity above politics.

"Different choices are not a problem, but we still have to get along well, be united, and take care of each other," he said.

Luluh Musyarofah added that apart from street substations, his party will also continue to carry out other political education ahead of the upcoming elections and elections. He hopes that this activity can continue until the regional elections he considers to be no less vulnerable than elections, so that people can continue to be educated and bring positive changes.

Thus, the activities of Street Substations and other political education are expected to help the people of Pontianak to be more aware of the importance of honest, fair, peaceful, and dignified elections, as well as to maintain unity and unity in differences in political choices.
