Megawati: Hey TNI-Polri, Don't Intimidate My People

Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri gave an ultimatum to the TNI-Polri not to intimidate the Indonesian people at the 2024 General Election (Pemilu). This is because the democratic party belongs to all Indonesian citizens.

The ultimatum that was delivered began when Megawati talked about her patience running out because she kept hearing the power being used carelessly.

"I can't see that what is called power is used to intimidate the same Indonesian people who have the same rights in our constitution," Megawati said while giving a speech at the Ganjar-Mahfud Grand Campaign event at Gelora Bung Karno, Saturday, Fabruari 3.

In fact, the fifth President of Indonesia is very disappointed with the current government. Because it is considered to have injured the founders of the Indonesian nation.

Where the goals of the Indonesian founders are to ensure that the Indonesian people have the same in the eyes of the law.

"Remember, hey police, stop intimidating my people. Hey soldiers, stop intimidating my people," said Megawati.

In addition, it is emphasized that the election belongs to all Indonesian people. So, no party should intimidate the people.

"The direct general election is the right of the people, not yours," said Megawati.
