The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has denied allegations by the Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto regarding the alleged criminalization of PDIP faction member Ribka Tjiptaning who was summoned as a witness today. Investigators did this effort to shed light on the case being investigated.

It is known that Ribka Tjiptaning underwent examination as a witness in the corruption case in the procurement of the Indonesian labor protection system (TKI) at the Ministry of Manpower in 2012.

"So this is certainly not an opportunity for us to carry out an examination. It didn't suddenly happen," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Thursday, February 1.
