Reviewing The Service Of KIS BPJS Patients At Soeradji Klaten Hospital, Jokowi: Increase A Little More

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) accompanied by Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin reviewed the speed of service for patients with Healthy Indonesian Cardholders (KIS) at Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Hospital, Klaten Regency, Central Java (Central Java).

"I want to see hospital services for patients, especially KIS BPJS participants," he said during a visit to Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Hospital Klaten, Central Java, Wednesday, January 31, which was confiscated by Antara.

The President said that so far the service has been running well even though there are quite a lot of queues for these services, but the service speed is 20-25 minutes on average.

Meanwhile, he said that until now BPJS Kesehatan has reached more than 95 percent of the population in Indonesia.

"Yes, just increase a little more, the important thing that is prioritized is still service. KIS BPJS is service, speed of service," he said.

Regarding the completeness of medical devices in health care facilities, said President Jokowi, in the middle of this year the government will complement the lack of medical equipment, including for hospitals with heart affairs, cancer, and stroke services.

"Everything is equipped with good and sophisticated equipment. I see the hospital is doing well. It will also start in the middle of the year for its area because it is lacking," he said.

Asked about the extreme weather that has recently occurred in the country, he asked the public to continue to be aware of it. "Be careful," he said.
