EAST ACEH - Two residents in the East Aceh area found two firearms in a sack pack in their garden. East Aceh Police Chief AKBP Nova Suryandaru said the two firearms were suspected of being used or the rest of the Aceh conflict in the past.

According to the Police Chief, possession of firearms without permission violates Article 1 of the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 with the threat of 20 prisons.
"Currently, people are facing the 2024 General Election. Let's create an atmosphere within the jurisdiction of the East Aceh Police which is safe, comfortable, peaceful and cool. If anything violates the law, such as illegal possession of firearms, immediately convey it to the police," he said.
