The Aceh Election Supervisory Committee (Panwaslih) stated that the trend of election violations, especially for legislative elections in Aceh, was dominated by the issue of keuchik neutrality (village heads) to state civil servants (ASN).
"For Aceh, the trend of most election violations is carried out by keuchik and village officials," said Panwaslih Aceh Legal and Dispute Division Coordinator Fahrul Rizha Yusuf in Banda Aceh, quoted from Antara, Monday, January 29.
Fahrul Rizha made this statement during a public discussion on Aceh Resource and Development (ARD) regarding the readiness, supervision of elections and neutrality of state administrators, in Banda Aceh.
Fahrul said that so far his party has and is handling two cases related to ASN neutrality, and eight alleged violations by the village head.
Violations of keuchik neutrality occurred in the areas of Banda Aceh, West Aceh, Southwest Aceh, Nagan Raya and Central Aceh. In Bireuen, the Ministry of Religion's ASN participated in campaigning and politicizing aid.
Furthermore, he added, his party also received reports about alleged election violations in Langsa City and Lhokseumawe, namely related to assistance to the distribution of basic necessities.
"In fact, there are allegations in Southeast Aceh that there are candidates who promise and are accompanied by threats," he said.
Regarding the handling of the problem, Fahrul continued, Panwaslih Aceh has already handled it. For ASN, apart from going through the Gakkumdu Center process, it was also conveyed directly to KASN.
"The trend of violations is the village apparatus as well as ASN, and the ASN case has been transferred to the State Civil Apparatus Committee (KASN)," said Fahrul Rizha Yusuf.
