Sunday Morning, After Cycling Jokowi Treats AHY Gudeg Yogyakarta

YOGYAKARTA - President Joko Widodo had breakfast with the Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) at the Gudeg Yu Djum Wijilan restaurant, Yogyakarta, Sunday, January 28 morning.

Jokowi and AHY on a bicycle arrived at the restaurant at around 07.00 WIB. The two then sat in a shirt and ate gudeg. After eating the gudeg, they greeted the residents who had been waiting in front of the restaurant while distributing black T-shirts.

Jokowi, who was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt with AHY in a blue shirt, then left the location at around 08.00 WIB on a bicycle.

"This is the first time that Gudeg Yu Djum Wijilan has been visited by Mr. President and Mr. AHY, of course we are very happy to be able to serve him. Moreover, he is the president and Mr. AHY are also the son (former) of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono," said Gudeg Yu Djum Operations Manager, Wijilan Adit Fajar, when met after Jokowi's visit.

According to him, the two special guests and their entourage ate the dish with the same menu variant, namely gudeg rice combined with krecek, thighs, and chicken eggs. "The total (order) is 50 servings," he said.

The day before being visited, he did not expect Jokowi's arrival with AHY.

He admitted that he was only asked by the team to prepare eight tables, without any special requests to limit restaurants to other visitors. "Yesterday I asked not to clear all of them, the important thing is to provide eight tables, just like that," he said.
