INTAN JAYA - Intan Jaya Police Chief AKBP Afrizal Asri said that currently the activities of the residents of Sugapa, Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua, are gradually recovering. "It is true that gradually people's activities seem to be recovering, although many kiosk owners are still serving by only opening a few pieces of boards that cover their stalls," Afrizal Asri told ANTARA, Friday, January 26. When asked about flight activities at Bilorai Airport, he admitted that he could serve flights. It's just that airlines are still delaying operating to Sugapa. "What is certain is that we have allowed flights to Sugapa, but airlines are delaying or canceling public flights," he said. He hopes that security will recover soon so that activities can return to normal soon and people will not feel afraid anymore. As a result of the shooting that had been carried out since Friday, a Brimob member died, namely Bripda Alfindo Steven Karamoy.

"No civilians were injured in the shooting carried out by the KKB, although some of their houses were burned," added Afrizal Asri.
