After Action, A Thief Was Killed By A Truck In Bogor

A thief named Firgi was killed when he was hit by a box car while trying to escape in the Cicadas Village area, Gunungputri District, Bogor Regency, West Java.

The perpetrator is known to have died on the spot, Thursday, January 25 at around 02.00 WIB after carrying out the robbery action.

The Head of Gunung Putri Police, AKP Didin Komarudin revealed that the incident began when the victims of IS (19) and (20) were passing by on a motorbike on Jalan Raya Cileungsi-Cibinong.

Right in front of SDN 1 Cicadas, four men using two motorbikes suspected of being robbers grabbed the victim's vehicle.

"It turned out that the four men were about to seize the victim's motorbike. While in action, the perpetrators pointed sharp weapons of the type of sickle." said Didin, Friday, January 26.

Because his life was threatened, the victim chose to stop and ran leaving his motorbike on the side of the road. However, the perpetrators still chased the two victims and slashed IS's left hand.

When the violence took place, it turned out that a number of motorists were passing by. These robbers immediately fled.

Then, there were residents who passed around the location and immediately helped the victim and chased the perpetrators. Finally, there were two perpetrators lying on the side of the road after being hit by a box car.

One of the perpetrators who was later identified as Firgi died at the scene, while his friend with the initials N fled.

"The perpetrator who died was taken to Mery Cileungsi Hospital," he added.

Meanwhile, victims IS and J secured another perpetrator with the initials YS. In this case the police secured a sickle, 1 motorbike, and 1 cell phone.

"Currently, the perpetrators who have been arrested, along with the evidence, are at the Gunung Putri Police Station for further investigation and development," he said.
