Jokowi's Response Calls The President Allows Campaign, AMIN: Ignorants Are Not New Issues

JAKARTA - The National Team for Winning Anies-Muhaimin (AMEN National Team) said that the jokes of leaders or officials in the 2024 General Election are not new issues.

This was said by the Expert Council of the AMIN National Team Supomo in response to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) giving a statement that the president and minister may take sides and participate in the campaign in the presidential election (pilpres) contestation.

"That's not a new issue, and the government should be, that's the term girl first, not the new one," said Supomo at the AMIN National Team Winning Headquarters, Jakarta, Wednesday, January 24.

He considered that the public was already smart in assessing. From that statement, he said, support for AMIN would continue to arrive.

According to him, state officials during the 2024 presidential election should be neutral against the contestation of the successor to state officials. He also hopes that honest and fair democracy will continue to be enforced.

"We hope that neutrality is clear, yes, the government will be neutral, there will be no partiality, fair and honest elections, so we vote like that, and the fighters of change, continue to voice it. We hope that truly the democracy that is built is an honest and fair democracy," said Supomo.

As previously reported, President Jokowi said that everyone has political and democratic rights, including himself as head of state and ministerial staff. Jokowi emphasized that the president may take sides and campaign.
