9-vehicle Collision At Puncak Bogor Triggered By Human Error

The West Java Police Traffic Directorate (Jabar) together with the Bogor Police Traffic Unit have conducted a crime scene (TKP) in a series of accidents involving five four-wheeled and three-wheeled vehicles in the Puncak area, Bogor, West Java on Wednesday, January 24 afternoon.

TKP processing is carried out using the traffic accident analysis (TAA) method. Officers use a three-dimensional camera capable of simulating the accident process visually.

Head of the Law Enforcement Unit (Gakum) of the Bogor Police Traffic Unit, Iptu Angga Nugraha, revealed that from the preliminary results of the crime scene, it was known that the cause of the accident was a human error, namely the fault of the driver of the mineral water truck.

"The temporary assumption is that it is a human error," said Angga when confirmed, Wednesday, January 24.

However, the police have not been able to determine the driver as a suspect because no investigation has been carried out. The driver was discharged from the hospital after undergoing treatment and was immediately secured at the Gakum unit of the Bogor Police.

"We have secured the driver, and an investigation will be carried out soon. So far, no suspect has been involved," said Angga.
