Medan Musnahkan Polrestabes Nearly 15 Thousand Ecstasy Pills Resulting From Dealer Arrests In Night Entertainment

Medan Police, North Sumatra destroyed 14,746 ecstasy pills from the arrest of dealers.

"There are three perpetrators, namely DHH (51), JAS (49) and AA (34) who are all residents of Medan with evidence of 15,000 ecstasy pills and the rest for laboratory purposes," said Medan Police Chief Kombes Teddy Jhon Sahala Marbun, quoted by ANTARAA, Monday, January 22.

Teddy said the three perpetrators acted as intermediaries to take the ecstasy pills to their destination and some were sold at entertainment venues in Medan.

"Three perpetrators violated Article 114 paragraph 2 subsidiary 112 paragraph 2 in conjunction with 132 of Law 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a threat of 20 years in prison, a maximum of life or death," he said.

Teddy reminded the public not to use it, let alone become drug dealers.

"Don't hesitate to the public to report, we will follow up in the Medan Polrestabes area," he said.

In addition, the Medan Polrestabes also confiscated evidence including shabu-shabu weighing 60.94 grams and electric scales on Jalan Karyawan Medan on January 19.

"The perpetrator is a recidivist with the initials S (48) and with the initials B is in the search for people (DPO)," said Teddy.
