JAKARTA - An unidentified man was found dead in Krukut River, Tanah Baru, Beji, Depok City, Sunday, January 21, at 14.00 WIB. Head of Public Relations of the Depok Metro Police, Iptu Made Budi, said that currently his party is still examining a number of witnesses to determine the cause of death of the victim.

"He found a floating body face down on the edge of the Krukut river with the characteristics of wearing a white brownish resident's shirt due to being hit by river water and mud, underwear," Made said when confirmed, Monday, January 22.

"Currently looking for information regarding the discovery of the corpse," he said.

Made explained that the discovery of the corpse began when a witness named Ariful was looking for a crew on the edge of the Krukut river, Beji, Depok City. Arriving at the scene of the incident (TKP) he saw a man floating on the edge of the Krukut river.

The witness also contacted the local RT and Beji Police. The police who received the information went directly to the crime scene to evacuate the victim and investigate the cause of the victim's death.

The victim was taken to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, for further action.

Based on the initial investigation, said Made, there were no signs of violence on the victim's body.

"There are no signs of violence. The victim is now at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for post-mortem," he concluded.
