43 Motorcycles And 4 Cars Using Brong Exhausts Were Acted By The Lampung Regional Police

JAKARTA - The Lampung Police have netted dozens of vehicles, both two and four, using Brong exhausts, for enhanced routine activities (KRYD).

"There were 47 vehicles caught in raids carried out by personnel on Jalan ZA Pagar Alam, Raja Basa, right at the entrance to this city," said Head of Ops for the Bandar Lampung Police, Kompol David Jeckson Sianipar, quoted from Antara, Sunday, January 21.

He said that this activity focused on a number of vehicles passing from the city of Bandarlampung to South Lampung Regency and from the opposite direction.

"So of the 47 vehicles caught in the raid, covering 43 motorcycles and 4 cars, and violations are dominated by the use of Brong exhaust," he said.

Kompol David said that this activity is a form of preventing criminal acts, illegal racing actions, and motorcycle gangs, which have recently disturbed the people of Bandarlampung.

"In addition to preventing criminal acts, this activity aims to suppress the use of Brong exhaust which greatly disturbs the comfort of the community," he said.

He said that the 43 motorbikes that were caught in the raid for using the Brong exhaust were then ticketed by officers, and taken to the Bandarlampung Police Headquarters for follow-up.

"In preventing criminal acts and disturbances to public order, the Bandarlampung Police and the ranks of the Sector Police continue to aggressively hold KRYD in accordance with the specified time zone and royanization," he said.
