JAKARTA - General Chairperson of the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Muslimat Central Executive Khofifah Indar Parawansa apologized for the possibility of delaying traffic flow around Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Jakarta during the 78th Anniversary (Harlah) of the NU Muslimat.
"To the residents of DKI Jakarta, our road users apologize if all the trips of panjenengan are delayed a little and make it uncomfortable," said Khofifah in a written statement received in Jakarta, Friday.
Khofifah said the NU Muslimat Harlah Committee together with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya had taken a number of anticipatory and mitigation steps to reduce the impact of the pile-up of masses and vehicles around GBK Senayan.
Among them, he said, by preparing the flow of in and out of the bus, parking bags, and a number of other scenarios.
"There are four parking bags, namely in the GBK area, around GBK Senayan, around Monas, and around Kemayoran. For buses that come from East Java, Central Java, and Jakarta, parking points are prepared around Monas. Meanwhile, buses from West Java, Sumatra, and Banten are prepared for parking points around GBK," he explained.
Based on the temporary calculation of the NU Harlah Muslimat committee, said Khofifah, there are around 2,995 bus fleets that will bring participants from 34 Regional Management (PW) and 534 NU Muslimat Branch Managers (PC).
The event was also attended by the NU Muslimat Special Branch Management (PCI) from 11 countries, including Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Germany, England, Japan, and other countries.
To note, the commemoration of the 78th Harlah of Muslimat Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK), Central Jakarta on Saturday (20/1/2024).

Furthermore, Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to arrive at the location at around 06.45 WIB, and continue with the opening at 07.15 WIB which was connected with remarks from the General Chairperson of PP Muslimat NU Khofifah Indar Parawansa and PBNU General Chair KH Yahya Cholil Staquf.
Then, Rais ‘Aam PBNU KH Miftachul Akhyar is scheduled to fill out tausiyah from 07.45 WIB to 08.00 WIB and continue with President Jokowi's direction until 08.15 WIB.
Then it was continued with the presentation of the songs Hymne Muslimat NU and Padamu Negeri. The event will be closed with a prayer reading by Habib Lutfi Bin Yahya at 08.20 WIB.
