PPP Will Dismiss Cadres Involved In PPP Fighters Who Support Prabowo-Gibran

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Advisory Council of the United Development Party (PPP) DPP as well as the TPN Expert Council Ganjar-Mahfud, Muhammad Romahurmuziy, emphasized that cadres involved in the PPP Fighters movement to support other candidate pairs will be dismissed.

The man who is familiarly called Romy said the move was an effort to cut the path of operation for cadres who did not obey the party's decisions.

"What is clear is that we are making firm efforts to cut off the operation route, that cadres who are making efforts to oppose party decisions that have been legally taken, yes, we will stop," said Romy during an exclusive interview with ANTARA in Jakarta., Friday, January 19.

Previously, the group calling itself PPP Fighters declared support for the presidential candidate pair and vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka in one round.

PPP Fighter National Coordinator Witjaksono, when reading the declaration in Jakarta, on December 28, 2023, said the support was based on a noble desire to advance the Republic of Indonesia and pay attention to economic, geopolitical and global security challenges.
