NU Muslimat Will Green GBK Commemorating 78th Harlah

JAKARTA - Muslimat Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) holds the commemoration of the 78th birthday (harlah) at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK), Central Jakarta, on Saturday (20/1).

"This is our common agenda. Let's work together to make it a success by attending and we intend to pray together for the benefit of our beloved nation and country," said Chairman of the NU Muslimat Central Leadership Khofifah Indar Parawansa as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 17.

The activity, which contains this joint prayer, is planned to start at 00.00 WIB and be attended by NU Muslims from within and outside the country as well as NU residents, Ansor, Fatayat NU, PERGUNU, and elements of the autonomous, lajnah, and other NU institutions.

He said the 150 thousand residents would be transported by 2,995 buses.

This event will also be attended by the PSI Muslimat NU which confirms its presence from 11 countries, including Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Germany, England, and Japan.

Khofifah hopes that this will be a big momentum involving all ranks of the NU Muslimat as well as elements of NU and Banom, lajnah, institutions, and other devices.

Harlah Ke-78 Muslimat NU Menganggu the theme "Membangun Ketahanan Keluarga Untuk Menguatkan Ketahanan Nasional".

He emphasized that the main activities in the event included remembrance, prayer, and salawat, as well as the tadarus Al Quran with a target of 2,024 times.

"This number refers to the current year, namely 2024," he said.

It is planned that President Joko Widodo will attend the event, including the ulama, NU figures including the leader of the PBNU sharia and tanfiziah, and the leaders of the NU Muslimat along with the management.

"We pray for the safety of the Indonesian nation. Hopefully with that, Allah will give mercy and gifts to become a nation and a country that is the Bhadatun thayyibatun wa rabbun ghaf lahur," he said.
