Corruption In The 1 Billion Village Fund Program, 3 Village Heads In Bogor Arrested

Bogor Police arrested Tatang, the village head (Kades) of Cidokom, Rumpin District, on suspicion of corruption in the program assistance fund of one billion one village or Samisade.

Tatang became the third village head in Bogor Regency to deal with the law because of the corruption of Samisade funds throughout 2023.

"The suspect (Cidokom Village Head) is suspected of committing a criminal act of corruption or corruption, with a loss of Rp. 598,128,977. We have detained him, since a month ago or in December 2023," said Head of the Bogor Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Teguh Kumara, Wednesday 17 January.

From the various information obtained, Tatang is suspected of corruption in Samisade financial assistance funds during the two fiscal years, namely 2021 and 2022. This is known from the results of the audit of the Bogor Regency Inspectorate.

For his actions, Tatang was charged with Article 2 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 8 and Subsidiary Article 3 in conjunction with Article 8 of Law no. 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code with a maximum imprisonment of 20 years.

"We have delegated the Tatang file and are currently investigating the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Cibinong District Attorney. Meanwhile, our suspect is being held in the Bogor Police Headquarters detention room," said Teguh.
