JAKARTA - The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of East Jakarta stated that it did not receive a report regarding the traffic accident due to the existence of the campaign prop (APK) type of legislative banner.

His party will also investigate the incident that occurred on Jalan Laut Arafuru, Duren Sawit sub-district, East Jakarta.

Chairman of the East Jakarta Bawaslu, Willem J Wetik, said the search was carried out because his party had not yet received a report related to the incident.

"Yesterday there were no reports related to the incident that went to Panwascam or PKD in the Duren Sawit area, we are currently investigating it again," Willem said when confirmed, Tuesday, January 16.

Willem said that his party also has the option of mediating with all relevant parties. Because if it goes through the search process, it will take longer.

"Mediating with the Political Party that installed the APK as the parent of the Legislative Candidate, as well as the APK team can be done on the basis of incoming reports," he said.

A number of campaign props (APK) for legislative candidates (Caleg) scattered in public facilities such as roads, sidewalks, trees and flyover bridges often harm vehicle drivers and the general public.

After the accident due to the party flag on the Pondok Kopi Flyover, now the accident case due to a banner has occurred again in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta. This time, an accident between a motorbike and a car occurred again on Jalan Laut Arafuru, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta.

The accident occurred due to a banner of legislative candidates covering the driver's visibility.

A car driver, Tamrin (72) said the car he was driving was hit from the left side by a motorcycle rider who was driving a woman at that time.

When Tamrin asked the woman about the reason for hitting her vehicle, she was answered because she was not aware of a passing car, because her gaze was blocked by a banner.

"I went to Pondok bamboo, which turned right, apparently from the left he (the motorcyclist) wanted to go north to the right, he saw the left passing empty (vehicle passing) did not know from the opponent that there was a car. I understand because when I got out of the car, I saw and asked, oh yes, the view was not seen covered by a banner," Tamrin told reporters, Monday, January 15.

As a result of the accident, Tamrin's car had a supporting on the left side of the door. Meanwhile, the female motorcyclist just fell, but was not seriously injured.
