Jalan Kalimalang Tegal Danas Bekasi Regency Will Be 2 Directions After Utilities Control

JABAR - The Bekasi Regency Government (Pemkab) has confirmed that the Kalimalang Road Section for the Tegal Danas session will soon operate in two directions.

Bekasi Regent Dani Ramdan said the policy would be implemented after completing the widening work until the utility was carried out.

"In terms of construction, we have achieved the target, all the concrete has been completed, in accordance with the contract. Now we are just waiting to be used in two directions," he said at the Tegal Danas section, Bekasi Regency, Monday, January 15, which was confiscated by Antara.

He said controlling utilities that stand on roads such as electricity and telephone poles, billboards, illegal buildings, and illegal parking activities are factors that delay the operation of the two directions on the section.

Local governments have asked relevant authorities and agencies to immediately regulate or move the utilities in the road so that the two-way operational plan on these sections can be carried out immediately.

Dani targets that the control of all utilities can be completed within the next week, making it easier for the Bekasi Regency Water Resources, Highways, and Construction Development Office (SDABMBK) to complete a section connection on the Kalimalang road.

"We will first tidy up at the intersection of Tegal Danas Market because there is still a billboard, there are still electricity and telephone poles in the middle of the road. That's why I collect it so that we divide the tasks and agree within one week it will be finished," he said.

The Bekasi Regency Government at the beginning of this year will continue the 200-meter-long Kalimalang Road widening project at the Cipayung-Pasir Tanjung session, Central Cikarang District, which borders Karawang Regency.

The local government will also complete the work on repairing the height of the Kalimalang Road which is located in front of the Tegal Danas Market so that it has a height that is parallel to the new road.

"This year we will continue until the Cipayung-Pasir Tanjung Road limit so that later from there we will have access to the state road to Karawang Regency," he said.

On this occasion, the Acting Regent of Bekasi and his staff took the time to visit Tegal Danas Market to talk with traders to find out market conditions after controlling them.

"I deliberately brought all relevant agencies from Bina Marga, the Transportation Service, the Trade Office, the Regional Revenue Agency, Satpol PP, the Central Cikarang Sub-district Head, and PLN and Telkom so that they can work together to resolve problems on this road," he said.
