Police Reveal The Figure Of Oma, Mastermind Of Online Prostitution In Bekasi

BEKASI - The police revealed the figure of a woman named Oma or Mami, who is suspected of masterminding the 8 woman trafficking crime case (TPPO) in Pondok Gede, Bekasi.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Metro Police, AKBP Muhammad Firdaus, said that Oma's motive for selling the victim to a masher was to seek profit.

"The motive is looking for profit. (The goal) is for daily life," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Metro Police, AKBP Muhammad Firdaus in a short message, Monday, January 15.

Firdaus said that the actions taken for a year had generated profits of up to Rp. 30 million.

In this activity, Oma provides facilities for places and daily food for 8 victims.

"Of the 8 victims, Oma got a profit of Rp36 million," he said.

Luckily, the action was revealed after one of the victims with the initials A (15) reported to the parents and Komnas PA. The Bekasi City Metro Police who received the report immediately arrested the suspects Daniel and Oma in the Bekasi City area.

Regarding the eight victims, they have now been returned to their respective homes. However, his party still provides assistance.
