1 Persecutor Of Truck Driver In Batang Arrested, 3 Others Buron

The Batang Resort Police (Polres) in Central Java (Central Java) arrested a perpetrator in the case of vandalism and beating his victim, truck driver Suprianto (46) in the Sigandu Beach Road area. While the other three perpetrators are still at large.

Batang Resort Police Chief AKBP Saufi Salamun explained that the case began when the perpetrator with the initials Jeje (36) and three of his friends were stopped on the side of the road in the Sigandu Street area.

"However, when the perpetrators intended to ride their motorbikes, a truck appeared driven by the victim crossing the road while honking their horns repeatedly so they were shocked," he said in Batang, Central Java, Monday, January 15, confiscated by Antara.

The perpetrators felt disapproved of the action of the truck driver named Suprianto, chasing and stopping his motorbike in front of the victim's truck, which was still driving.

"Because of emotions, the suspects R, D, and L who are still at large immediately got off their motorbikes and told the truck driver to get off by saying 'go down, mas, go down' but the victim did not want to get off," he said.

The perpetrators finally felt annoyed that they climbed the stairs of the truck cabin and beat the victim and damaged the truck.

As a result of the incident, the victim, who is a resident of Tlogosari Wetan Village, Semarang City, suffered abrasions on the head and aches in the chest. The victim also received treatment at the Batang Regional General Hospital (RSUD).

"As for, the glass condition of the left side of the truck broke and the main right side light was broken, two rearview mirrors were broken and a bailout. The material loss is estimated at Rp. 15 million," he said.
