Karawang Police Are Still Investigating The Case Of A Shaman Who Molested An Elementary School Boy

The Karawang Police are still investigating the rape case experienced by victim AA (13) at a house on Jalan Dusun Randu II, RT 08/02, Randumulya, Pedes, Karawang Regency, West Java.

"The case is still under investigation," said Karawang Police Chief, AKBP Wirdhanto Hadicaksono when confirmed by VOI, Monday, January 15.

AKBP Wirdhanto explained that the rape case had been handled by the Women and Children Service Unit (PPA Karawang Police).

Meanwhile, the Head of PPA of the Karawang Police, Ipda Rita Zahara, said the case was still under investigation.

"Yesterday the victim was just examined. The report was in December. We are still in the process of investigating, examining witnesses and collecting evidence," he said.

Investigators from the PPA Unit of the Karawang Police have also received the results of a post-mortem (victim) for investigation purposes.

A 13-year-old elementary school student who was a victim of the rape of an obscene shaman has not been arrested by the Karawang Police. In fact, the case was reported in December 2023.

"(The perpetrator) is a shaman who rapes this child, people can do that. The age of the perpetrator is 34 years," said social activist Pratiwi Novianthi to VOI, Monday, January 15.

According to the information gathered, until now the perpetrators are still on the loose even though a number of evidences and witnesses have been collected by investigators from the PPA Unit of the Karawang Police.

"The evidence submitted to the Karawang Police was bleeding underwear (owned by the victim), the positive post-mortem results were torn (in the victim's vital organs) and other evidence," said Novi, his nickname.
