President Jokowi's Impeachment, Airlangga: I Confirm, Only The Issue

The General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, emphasized that there was no issue of impeachment against President Joko Widodo. This statement was conveyed to the media in Central Lombok on Sunday 14 January. "Ah, there is no such issue. Golkar in the DPR and nothing like that," said Airlangga. "We are a party supporting the government, there is 85 percent. I emphasize that there is no such issue." Responding to questions regarding coalition plans in the second round of the presidential election, Airlangga stated that the current Golkar and TKN options will still be evaluated. "The important thing now is to win the Legislative and Presidential Elections, we are only talking about others. Currently we are focusing on one round, so we are waiting after February 14. Golkar will talk to all parties," said Airlangga.

Airlangga also stated that Golkar did not accept the flow of funds from abroad. "I have checked it at the treasurer of the Golkar party and there is no flow of funds," said Airlangga. He emphasized that Golkar had reported it to the KPU and it was confirmed that LADK was safe.
