Police Intervene To Investigate Riots Of Friends Of Ganjar Concert In Banyumas

PURWOKERTO - Banyumas City Police (Polresta) will immediately follow up on complaints related to the chaos that occurred during the Friends Ganjar concert at the Satria Sports Center, Purwokerto, Banyumas Regency, Central Java, Thursday night.

Head of the Banyumas Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Police Commissioner Adriansyah Rithas Hasibuan, said that his party had received a complaint report related to the riot.

However, he said, the complaint report was carried out by the Legal Aid and People's Advocacy Agency (BBHAR) of the PDI-P Branch of Banyumas Regency, not the victim.

"We will follow up by asking for information from the victim," Andryansyah told ANTARA, Sunday, January 14.

Complaints related to the riots that resulted in the Commander of the Banyumas Regency PDI-P DPC Task Force, Iwan Mujianto, experiencing a fracture, were reported to the Police Integrated Service Center (SPKT) of the Banyumas Police on Saturday (13/1) afternoon by the PDI-P DPC BBHAR Team Srie Yono accompanied by Nur Cahyo as team leader.

When met by reporters, Nur Cahyo said that his party came to the Banyumas Police SPKT to report the incident that occurred at the Sahabat Ganjar concert at the Satria Sports Hall, Purwokerto on Thursday night.

In this case, he said, his party reported a case of abuse that was carried out jointly against a member of the task force, resulting in the victim experiencing a broken shoulder and knee.

"On our side there is one victim. Because it is criminal, we ask for follow-up from the authorities," he said.

He hopes that the Banyumas Police can immediately follow up on the report until they find the perpetrators and be punished according to their actions so that in the future such incidents do not happen again.
