Ganjar Admits He Doesn't Promise Cak Imin After Both Visits Mamba'ul Ma'rif Islamic Boarding School In Jombang

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate number three, Ganjar Pranowo made no agreement with vice presidential candidate number two, Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin when he visited the Mamba'ul Ma'arif Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes), Jombang, East Java. Ganjar admitted that he both accidentally made a pilgrimage to the grave of Kiai Haji Bisri Syansuri or Mbah Bisri.

"No appointment. In fact, I actually wanted to come but the agenda was at night. I wanted to make a pilgrimage at night," said Ganjar as quoted from a written statement, Saturday, January 13.

However, Ganjar finally shifted the pilgrimage to the afternoon on Friday, January 12. This is due to the warning or the 45th Haul of Mbah Bisri on the evening and Cak Imin along with the number one presidential candidate, Anies Baswedan is scheduled to attend.

Ganjar emphasized this shift in schedule because he already has another agenda. "Because the possibility of entering the place is very crowded, it must be very crowded," he said.

Ganjar actually wanted to meet with the General Chairperson of the National Awakening Party (PKB) when he came to Mbah Bisri's grave. "Cak Imin is my friend," said the former Governor of Central Java.

Meanwhile, when asked about the communication with the Anies-Cak Imin or AMIN camp, Ganjar said that this step had often been done. This is because he and Mahfud MD and the AMIN pair are alumni of the Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Yogyakarta.

Ganjar is even believed to be the General Chair of the UGM Alumni Family (KAGAMA) for the 2019-2024 period. "I, Cak Imin, Mas Anies, and Prof Mahfud have four studied at UGM," he said.

"My alumni chairman. So when it comes to communication, the four of us are very ordinary in communication," concluded Ganjar.
