National Police Headquarters Corrects The Meaning Of The National Police Chief's Statement Regarding Leadership Estate

JAKARTA - Head of the Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of the Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, straightened out information regarding the National Police Chief's statement at the 2023 Christmas celebration event at the National Police Headquarters which conveyed the matter of leadership relays.

"What is meant (the National Police Chief) is the sustainability (of leadership) from the first President Ir Sukarno to the seventh President Ir Joko Widodo to realize development in Indonesia which is always sustainable from one leader to another," Truno said at the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, January 12.

Regarding the leadership relay statement, continued Truno, it is a leadership relay that must be continued by any new elected leader candidate.

"The leadership relay must of course be continued by whoever is a new candidate for leader and whatever program he carries," said Truno.

The full statement from the National Police Chief regarding leadership was delivered in his remarks at the 2023 Christmas celebration at the National Police Headquarters level which was held on Thursday (11/1) at the PTIK Auditorium.

In addition, continued Truno, the National Police Chief has instructed all ranks of the National Police to commit that the Police are neutral as mandated in Law No. 2 of 2002 concerning the National Police in Article 28 paragraph (1) and paragraph (2).
