New Public Transportation Towards Mount Rinjani Trayek Pancor-Sembalun Terminal, Operates From 8 Am

NTB - The East Lombok Regency Government, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, has prepared public transportation to the National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN) for the Pancor-Sebalun terminal route or the Mount Rinjani foot tourism area.

Acting Regional Secretary (Sekda) of East Lombok H Hasni said the presence of public transportation collaborated with Perum Damri.

"This is to improve services to the community and support the increase in tourist visits in East Lombok," he said in Selong, East Lombok, Wednesday, January 10, which was confiscated by Antara.

In addition, this step is part of the local government's efforts to support a more integrated and effective transportation system. This marks a step forward in the development of transportation infrastructure in East Lombok.

"This intermodal transportation is expected to strengthen connectivity and support tourism development in East Lombok," he said.

He emphasized the importance of cooperation between related parties, both local governments and the community in supporting the successful implementation of transportation between KSPN modes.

"The presence of intermodal transportation is also expected to be an economic driver, so that the East Lombok PAD can increase," he said.

At the initial stage, the transportation service will be tested by two vehicles with an operating schedule at 08.00-09.00 WITA and 11.00-12.00 WITA.
