Campaign In Banyuwangi, Gibran: If There Is Slander Or 'Nyiyiran' There Is No Need To Reply

JAKARTA - Vice Presidential Candidate number 2, Gibran Rakabuming Raka asked his supporters to exercise restraint and not overreact to other "attacks" supporting candidate pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates.

"I also leave a message if there is slander or'silence' or negative news, there is no need to reply. There is no need, slander is rewarded with slander. Anyway, we just focus on winning," said Gibran during a campaign in Banyuwangi Regency, East Java, Wednesday, January 10, confiscated by Antara.

The eldest son of President Joko Widodo also conveyed to his respective supporters in Banyuwangi to protect each other's votes for the victory of candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"I ask the Banyuwangi people to wait until February 14, 2024, please leave it to guard the votes in Banyuwangi," he said in front of his supporters.

Gibran Rakabuming carried out a campaign in Banyuwangi, East Java Province, for the first time. The presidential candidate pair Prabowo Subianto visited a number of volunteer campaign activities in the eastern tip of Java Island district.

Starting from gemoy exercises with women on AIL tours, Karangbendo Village, Blimbingsari District, and also attending a cooking contest for fishermen's wives organized by Pilar 08 volunteers at a hotel in Banyuwangi.

In front of the fishermen's wives, Gibran conveyed about the free lunch program for students that will be carried out when elected.

"So, this is in line with our program, free lunch for school children," said Gibran.

According to him, the program prioritizes the aspect of nutritional complexity in every food, which is intended to prevent stunting or growth disorders in children.

"It is very important for the Banyuwangi family to avoid stunting. We want everyone to be healthy so that they can go to Indonesia Gold 2045," said Gibran.

General Chairperson of Pilar 08 Kanisiyus Karyadi believes and is optimistic that the candidate pair Prabowo-Gibran will win in East Java Province.

"We believe Prabowo-Gibran's voice will increase, even above 50 percent, because we believe the movement of the community is very massive," he said.
