JAKARTA - A fruit trader at Kramat Jati Main Market, East Jakarta died with serious injuries in a number of his bodies. The incident was said to have occurred on Monday morning, January 8 at around 01.00 WIB.

In a post that went viral on social media, it was stated that the victim named Sutomo was a watermelon seller. He was doused with hard water and stabbed with sickles while serving buyers.

In the CCTV footage, it can be seen that the perpetrator, who covered his face with a mask and wore a jacket, suddenly poured water that was suspected of being hard water on the victim's face.

Then, the perpetrator who was seen one person beating the victim. Not satisfied there, the perpetrator took out a sickle that was hidden in his jacket, then grabbed the victim several times into the victim's body, until he finally fell. The perpetrator fled.

When contacted by VOI to find out the truth of the incident, the Head of Kramat Jati Police, Kompol Tuti Aini, did not respond.
