Arriving At Tangerang Regency Hospital, Doctor Says Engky's Condition Is Still Stable

JAKARTA Engky (33), an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol) who was obese with 230 kilograms was taken to the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Tangerang Regency. Engky was taken by medical officers using an ambulance from his house on Jalan Salak 4, Pesanggrahan Village, Solear, Tangerang Regency.

Arriving at the Tangerang District Hospital, the doctor conducted an initial examination. Deputy Director of Services at the Tangerang District Hospital Muhammad Rifky said that Engky's condition was fairly stable.

"Strengthening, blood pressure, is generally relatively stable. The condition is now because of the extraordinary weight that may be from outside, we don't really see the problem. We will look for what the dilemma looks like, so that the treatment is faster", Rifky told VOI, Monday, January 8, at the Tangerang District Hospital.

Engky was evacuated to the hospital because according to his family and residents in his home environment, he was quite worried. This was conveyed by Sarwono (45), Mr. RT at Engky's residence.

Sarwono said Engky began to be unable to move since early 2023. This happened after a beating occurred in his body.

At the Tangerang District Hospital, Engky will be treated medically. Rifky could not confirm how Engky was treated medically.

"I can't say for sure, but at least when the patient arrives now. Apart from being handled by a team of emergency specialists, it is also in the hands of internal diseases and nutrition specialists. But we also see the progress, if we need coordination with other specialists. We will add a team. " he said.
