Mahfud Talks About Candidate's Vision Mission: 'I Want To Visit High Human Rights,' Even Though There Are Human Rights Violators

Vice Presidential Candidate number 3, Mahfud MD asked the intelligent young generation to channel their information to their families and siblings to choose the right one. That's because the written vision and mission does not necessarily match the character of the candidate.

Mahfud gave an example, if there are candidates who want to enforce the law, but he himself is a violation of the law. In fact, there are candidates who want to eradicate corruption, even though he himself is involved in corruption in various ways.

He also gave an example of a candidate who promised to build democracy, even though the candidate intimidated people to choose him.

"That's not suitable between vision and behavior. 'I want to uphold human rights,' even though he is a human rights violator himself. I want to live in accordance with the people's simple economy, even though he himself lives in a glamorous, luxurious life and so on," Mahfud said at a talksho event wdi GOR Dharma Ayu, Indramayu Regency, West Java, Monday, January 8, confiscated by Antara.

According to Mahfud, young people must understand that the written vision and mission does not necessarily match the character of the person who brings vision and mission. The reason, he continued, could be that the vision and mission was written by someone else without having a dialogue with the experience concerned.

Therefore, Mahfud believes that these youths already have simple understandings so that in choosing, they will prioritize the candidate's track record.

On this occasion, Mahfud attended a talk show as well as received a declaration from Pemuda Gama Pantura, a combination of youth organizations, students and the people of Indramayu Regency, Subang Regency, Regency and Cirebon City.
