JAKARTA - Presidential candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto quipped another candidate, he said that anyone just spoke without data and was pushed by ambition.

"We are determined to have a strong defense, maybe someone who talks carelessly without data, maybe it is driven by passionate ambitions so that it is not objective, ladies and gentlemen," said Prabowo Subianto during a presidential candidate debate at Istora Senayan, Sunday, January 7.

Prabowo was determined, as the Minister of Defense, to adhere to the doctrine of national strategy and all of them were based on the interests of the Indonesian nation and people.

"I am able to be held accountable and I believe that only with a strong defense will we be respected, we will safeguard our national interests," Prabowo continued.

Prabowo also emphasized that the tradition of foreign politics in Indonesia since it was active is active free, non-block.

The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia held the Third Debate of Presidential Candidates for the 2024 General Election which will be attended by three presidential candidates. This third debate will be held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday night, starting at 19.00 WIB.

The debate, which was followed by the presidential candidate for the second time, raised the theme of defense, security, international relations, globalization, geopolitical and foreign politics.
