JAKARTA Andika Randa (28), an Avanza driver who was dealing with DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency officers in the Setiabudi area, South Jakarta. The video of Andika carrying Dishub officers on the hood of the car to the Menteng area, Central Jakarta went viral, shocked the netizens. The commotion finally became peaceful at the Sub-Directorate of Law Enforcement (Gakkum) of the National Police Ditlantas, Jalan Tebet Barat Dalam IX, South Jakarta.

The chronology of the incident was explained in previous news. And that night, Wednesday, January 3, 2024, the two of them sat together to solve the problem. Fortunately, the incident did not continue with the legal process. Accompanied by police officers, Andika apologized for his actions.

"We apologize profusely for what happened this afternoon," said Andika, as seen in the video received by VOI, Thursday, January 4, 2024.

Meanwhile, a DKI Transportation Agency officer named Yan Iskandarsyah who was carried on the hood of an Avanza car, has received an apology from Andika.

He hopes that this behavior will not happen again. Then, he must also maintain morals and ethics towards officers and others.

"We accept an apology from Mr. Andika and it is hoped that in the future it will maintain morals and ethics. This is what we hope for," said Yan Iskandarsyah, a DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency officer.

In the apology, it was followed by a written agreement signed by both parties. This means that they have agreed to peace.
