Father Beats Children's Heads With Bata To Death, Police Call Perpetrators Annoyed Because Their Son Often Makes Troubles

SEMARANG Sutikno Miji (59) became a suspect in the case of domestic violence (KDRT) that caused his son, Guntur Surono (22) to die at his home, in Mijen District, Semarang, Central Java.

Semarang Deputy Chief of Police, AKBP Wiwit Ari Wibisono, explained that the incident occurred on Monday, January 1, 2024, at around 15.00 WIB.

The incident began when the victim, Guntur Surono, returned home drunk. At that time Guntur abused his sister and mother using a knife.

Miji, Sutikno Miji's short call, heard the news, immediately came to the crime scene (TKP).

Please note, Miji lives separately from his wife and children. This is because Miji feels unable to face the behavior of his son, Guntur Surono. Miji's residence is about 16 kilometers from the house of his son and wife.

Continued regarding the chronology of the persecution case carried out by Miji. After arriving home to meet his wife and children, Miji immediately hit Guntur with wood until he fell down.

Seeing her child fall, Miji was still emotional and beat Guntur again using a habel brick. Instantly his son died with a severe head injury.

"According to the autopsy results, the victim (Guntur) died from severe injuries", said AKBP Wiwit Ari Wibisono, in a written statement received by VOI, Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

The police who received the report immediately secured Miji and looked for more accurate evidence in the chronology of the incident.

The results of the police investigation, Miji admitted that his first son's behavior was out of bounds. Guntur is said to have caused trouble since junior high school. That's why the father decided to stay away from his son by not living in the same house.

"I fled to my mother-in-law's house 16 kilos away to avoid clashing with him (Guntur)," said Sutikno to the media crew.

Miji also revealed that her mother and sister also often receive violent treatment from their sons. And the peak occurred on Monday, January 1, 2024, the father could not contain his emotions.

"In short, yesterday he (Guntur) beat his mother and sister and then I came to separate and he fought me," said Miji.

AKBP Wiwit Ari Wibisono continued, after all, Miji had committed the murder.

"So after all, this man (Miji0 has committed murder, for committing excessive injustice. When the knife fell, Mr. Tikno (Miji) was still committing other acts of violence," concluded the Deputy Chief of Police of Semarang.

Miji is subject to Article 44 paragraph (3) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence and/or Article 338 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 351 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 15 (fifteen) years.
