Considered Unprofessional, TKN Will Report Central Jakarta Bawaslu To DKPP

JAKARTA - Deputy Commander of the National Campaign Team (TKN) Prabowo-Gibran Fritz Edward Siregar, stated that his party would report the chairman to members of the Central Jakarta Bawaslu to the Election Organizers Honorary Council (DKPP). This report was the aftermath of the summons to Vice Presidential Candidate number 2, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who was considered unprofessional. "We will report the chairman and members of the Central Jakarta Bawaslu to the DKPP for reasons of unprofessionalism," said Fritz Siregar, at a press conference at the TKN media center, South Jakarta, Tuesday, January 2, evening. Fritz explained the evidence that Bawaslu was unprofessional. First, the Central Jakarta Bawaslu sent a summons which was written on January 2, 2023. "The first unprofessionalism is to send an invitation letter referring to last year, as stated by us it is impossible to turn around the attendance time at the Central Jakarta Bawaslu on January 2, 2023," said Fritz. Second, Bawaslu does not comply with Bawaslu regulations which states that alleged violations can be followed up within a maximum of seven days after the date of the incident.

"The second reason for the unprofessionalism that occurred was that the incident, as allegedly it was the incident on December 3, 2023. If we refer to Perbawaslu 7/2022, it is related to the findings and reports that 7 days since it was discovered it is the time held by the Central Jakarta Bawaslu to follow up on an alleged violation," explained Fritz.
