Minister Of PANRB Leads GovTech Preparations And ASN Recruitment

JAKARTA - Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas entered the first day of work in 2024 by directly holding an internal coordination meeting to ensure that the program in 2023 continues this year, such as the maturation of GovTech and preparation for the selection of candidates for state civil servants (ASN).

"My hope is that the activities that we have carried out in 2023 and the programs that we will run in 2024 can have a broad impact, not only for government and regional agencies, but also for the community," said Anas as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 2.

He revealed that currently his party is focusing on implementing government digitization and increasing human resources (HR).

The implementation of transformation is being pursued in order to achieve the integratedness of national digital services through the implementation of Priority Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) applications by prioritizing integration and interoperability.

To support this effort, the President issued Presidential Regulation Number 82 of 2023 concerning the Acceleration of Digital Transformation and the Integratedness of National Digital Services. Recently, his party has also gone to the President to report on the progress of digital implementation in various government sectors.

Minister Anas said there needed to be further breakthroughs so that the potential of the Digital Government could be more optimal.

The Presidential Regulation on the Acceleration of Digital Transformation is developed to realize two keys to acceleration and sustainability, namely the focus on priority systems including DPI (Digital Public Infrastructure) and also the establishment of the Indonesian Digital Team or 'GovTech' for future sustainability.

He emphasized that the Priority SPBE application was held to support integrated education services, integrated health services, integrated social assistance services, population administration services that are integrated with digital population identity services, state financial transaction services, government administration services in the field of state apparatus, public service portal services, One Data Indonesia services, and police services.

At the meeting, Azwar Anas also requested that in 2024 each of his staff can collaborate more optimally and synergize between work units at the PANRB Ministry.

This is considered to be able to accelerate government priority programs, eliminate silo-silo and erode sectoral egos between internal stakeholders of the Ministry of PANRB.

Strengthening the ball pick-up program in each work unit needs to be encouraged, no longer waiting. At the beginning of 2024, it is like everything has to be started. If it needs to be repaired like changing oil, immediately do it, so that all targets can run according to what is determined," he said.

Minister Anas also advised his staff that the derivative of Law Number 20 of 2023 concerning State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the form of the Presidential Decree Bill can be completed immediately. These regulations can later become a guide for ASN and one more thing that must be accelerated the implementation of Priority SPBE services, especially in the government administration service sector.

The government also plans to open a CASN 2024 recruitment to meet the needs of human resources in government agencies. Anas revealed that the fulfillment of ASN in 2024 is prioritized on the needs of ASN in basic services, namely teachers and health workers.

Furthermore, it focuses on solving non-ASN power problems in government agencies according to the mandate of Law Number 20 of 2023 concerning ASN. This year, the government opens wider space for fresh graduates. The government opens wider opportunities for digital talent.
