This assistance consists of donations from ASN Ministry of Religion throughout Indonesia worth IDR 41,520,207,987.00 and donations from Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Ministry of Religion throughout Indonesia worth IDR 3,381,888,260.00.
"Aid will be distributed through LazisMu and LazisNU," said Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 2.
The handover of aid was symbolically carried out on the eve of the Untian Prayer and Poem for Palestine which was held at the Usmar Ismail Film Center.
"The assistance we convey tonight is a form of concern for the big family of the Ministry of Religion, including the Ministry of Religion's DWP, for the pain that is currently being felt by our brothers in Palestine," said the Minister of Religion.

"We are certainly very concerned about what happened in Palestine. It has been more than 80 days of war taking place there, and we hear our brothers and sisters are starving in Palestine. Hopefully this little help can ease the Palestinian people," he said.
