Kapolda Predicts KKB Disruption Is Still A Disturbance In Kamtibmas In Tanah Papua

Papuan Police Chief Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri admitted that his party is still predicting that the KKB disturbance will still color the security and social order in Papua in 2024. "To minimize casualties due to security disturbances caused by the KKB, his party hopes that the company leadership who employs its employees will always coordinate with the security forces in the area," said Fakhiri in Jayapura Papua, Antara, Tuesday, January 2. Fakhiri said that the coordination was necessary so that the authorities would know if there were building work activities, especially in areas that were categorized as prone to KKB disturbances. With the coordination, the security forces are aware of workers or residents in certain areas or areas so that they can be monitored.
