White Toyota Yaris Falls Freely To Kali KBT Cakung, It Turns Out That The Driver Is Sleepy

The white Toyota Yaris car was found stuck in the banks of the East Flood Canal (KBT), Pulogebang Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta.

The car with license plate number B 1488 FIG plunged into a depth of about 10 meters from the top of the East Flood Canal Inspection Road, Pulogebang. The incident was reported to have occurred on Monday night, January 1.

This accident occurred when the car was traveling from Jalan Raya Bekasi. However, when the car crossed Jalan Inspeksi Kanal Banjir Timur towards Jalan Station Cakung and crossed the intersection of the road, the driver did not see any road dividers.

Until the vehicle hit a tree and fell into the banks of the East Flood Canal. The cause of the single accident was because the car driver was sleepy while driving.

"Earlier he said he was sleepy, he didn't see the streets like this. Suddenly he climbed onto the sidewalk and immediately jumped into the KBT," said Riski, one of the local residents to reporters, Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

After the incident, the car driver immediately saved himself. However, the driver looked shocked by the accident that happened to him.

"The condition of the victim was silent, dry. Earlier, he was asked to be silent, I don't know where he was going. (the cause) was drowsiness," he said.

The car was then evacuated using a car crane belonging to the East Jakarta Traffic Unit. The car suffered damage to the front bumper and was secured to the East Jakarta Traffic Unit Laka.
