Anies Yakin Raup Suara Jatim Meski Khofifah Dukung Prabowo

Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan is optimistic that he will be able to garner voters in the East Java region even though the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa requires that he support Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 presidential election.

The former governor of DKI Jakarta believes that his two coalition parties, namely the NasDem Party and the National Awakening Party (PKB), have the reach to win the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) pair in East Java.

"With the network owned by PKB, NasDem in particular, it will be able to reach more and we are increasingly optimistic about East Java," said Anies after attending a declaration of support from the Islamic Student Association (KBHMI) extended family in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 27.

Khofifah is currently still often associated with PKB. Even so, Aniesengan conveyed AMIN's winning strategy in East Java. According to him, the strategy to anticipate the Khofifah issue of supporting Prabowo is not something that will be announced.

"The strategy period is dimumin, mana," Anies added.

Previously, Khofifah received support from the Gerindra Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN), the Democratic Party, and the Golkar Party to run as incumbent governor candidates in the 2024 East Java Pilkada.

The four parties that expressed support for Khofifah in the 2024 East Java Pilkada are the party that carries the candidate pair Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 presidential election.

In addition, Khofifah has also implied the direction of her support for the 2024 presidential election.
