Christmas Holidays, Odd Even Jakarta On 25 And 26 Canceled

JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya announced to eliminate the Odd-Even policy in Jakarta during Christmas and the 2023 Christmas holidays which fell on December 25 and 26.

This announcement was broadcast via the official Instagram account @tmcpoldametro which was uploaded on December 24.

"In connection with Christmas Day 2023 which falls on Monday, December 25, 2023, the Odd Even Policy in DKI Jakarta will be suspended on December 25 and 26, 2023," wrote a statement from the @tmcpoldametr account.

In this information, this policy is based on a joint decree of the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia regarding National Holidays and Joint Leave in 2023.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has also issued a policy through Pergub 88 of 2019 article 3 paragraph (3) concerning traffic restrictions with the odd-even system not enforced on Saturdays, Sundays and National Holidays stipulated by Presidential Decree or Presidential Decree.

The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya appealed to road users to obey traffic signs, instructions from officers in the field and prioritize road safety.

For your information, the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya will also implement the Contra Flow return flow system on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at 14:00 WIB to 24:00 WIB from KM 87 Subang to Km 47 West Karawang.

Then on Wednesday, December 27, the contra flow system will also be applied from 08:00 WIB to 24:00 WIB starting from KM 87 Subang to Km 47 West Karawang.
