Transjakarta Customers Are Urged To Maintain The Netrality Of PMeilu 2024 Not To Paste The APK On Buses And Bus Stops

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Transport Jakarta (Transjakarta) Welfizon Yuza appealed to the entire community to participate in maintaining public facilities and not install campaign props (APK) on buses or bus stops.

"We appeal to all TransJakarta customers and the general public, this TransJakarta is a public facility. So we have to maintain neutrality, don't stick it with campaign props," Welfizon said when met in Central Jakarta, Friday, December 22, which was confiscated by Antara.

Furthermore, Welfizon also said that his party had made various efforts to maintain TransJakarta neutrality during the 2024 election campaign. One of them is by checking every TransJakarta bus unit before leaving the depot.

Previously, Transjakarta had received a report of a legislative candidate sticker on the bus that was affixed by the user. This was also highlighted on social media. However, this was immediately followed up and removed by Transjakarta.

Welfizon added that all directors and operators of Transjakarta have also signed a neutrality pact. Because it is part of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

Then, if a service user or someone who displays it secretly is found, he will be given sanctions and reported to Bawaslu.

"The most important thing is that we all people and all TransJakarta customers must protect public assets from being used as media or places for campaigns," said Welfizon.
