Anies Promises To Make MSMEs An Nsional Program

SERANG - presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan ensures that he will make the micro, small and medium enterprise development program (MSMEs) one of the national programs, if he wins the 2024 presidential election.

"If I become president, I will encourage MSMEs as one of the national programs, besides that, I will also make industrialization in labor-intensive areas," said Anies during a campaign at the Maulana Yusuf Youth Center (GGR) Building, Serang City, Banten, meeting with sympathizers and volunteers reported by ANTARA, Thursday, December 21.

Anies said this reflects on the experience of leading Jakarta. According to him, apart from capital and marketing factors, the problems faced by MSMEs are licensing.

"To anticipate this problem, it is time for the government not to wait for MSME actors to process permits independently," he said.

According to him, the government must actively go down to facilitate this. He has done a program like this when he was Governor of DKI Jakarta

"So it is not the people who ask for permission, but we will give permission," he said.

Therefore, Anies emphasized, on February 14, 2024, with a time of six hours at that time was an opportunity to choose a leader who could bring change.

"We have the opportunity to choose a leader who can bring change on February 14. Because to make changes, there needs to be authority," he said.
