North Maluku Governor Becomes Suspect, Kapolda Asks Residents To Keep Order

TERNATE - North Maluku Police Chief (Malut), Inspector General Midi Siswoko asked the public to maintain security and public order (kamtibmas) after the determination of the Governor of North Maluku, Abdul Gani Kasuba, as a suspect by the KPK.

The Kapolda said that currently the security and security situation in North Maluku is still safe. Therefore, he asked all parties to work together to maintain public security so that North Maluku remains conducive.

"To the people in North Maluku, we ask that there be no reaction, because this is the executor of law enforcement that is in accordance with law enforcement procedures, must be enforced for the state of law," said the North Maluku Police Chief as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 20.

It was also reminded that the seal carried out by the KPK in a number of places related to the OTT of the Governor of North Maluku would not be damaged.

"We ask the parties, a number of places that have been sealed by the KPK team, so as not to damage them, because they will violate the law, so they must respect the law enforcement carried out by the anti-corruption agency," said the Kapolda.
